ARISE AND ACT FOR THE KINGDOM
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you (Isaiah 60:1-2, KJV). Verily, verily the earth is in a thick darkness. As the minds of men are becoming blind to God and the dignity of manhood, confusion and turmoil are spreading across the nations. We see the menace of poverty, diseases, terrorism, war and various troubles ravaging. Yet the highest degree of darkness resides in the human mind whereby in subtle manner, sinful acts which are merely comparable to such of beasts as it were in Sodom and Gomorrah are being legalised and propagated under the guise of civilization and they are turning out to becoming part of the normal daily life of men.
