God is dependable

You might have been genuinely pursuing a good course and it seems like all efforts are futile. Don't lose hope, just bear in mind that, even if nothing is working out, God is working in progress! As long as you are His child, He has good plans for you.

Use the right approach

Condemning people neither changes nor makes them better, it only turns their heart tough or stubborn. Rather, exemplary life, sound teaching, wise counsel, timely correction in love and prayers makes an effective approach to impact change in others.

Hypocrites' profile

Hypocrites are not hard to know. Likes of such are leaders who want people to change but fail to lead by example; being mere speakers who are rare doers.

Be courageous

When enemies arise and threatens you for doing what is right, do not be afraid, rather ask God for boldness to keep doing right with greater intensity, and eventually you will see your enemies surrender to you.

Truth is indomitable

Do not hate truth or run away from people who will always ring it in your ears. Wise men love truth because it helps them to live right.

Gentleness promotes peace

Peace can never be achieved by violence. Lots of people think 'an eye for an eye' settles matters, but the Spirit teaches "love and gentleness." Whenever anyone take things hot with you, you give it back cold and you will see how peace would easily have its way; first in your heart and then between you two. Violence aggravates tension, but gentleness promotes peace. #WisdomDose

Seek God early

Learn to seek the Lord before problems and confusion arise. If you choose to wait till the time issues come up before you seek Him, you may discover that you are too overwhelmed or heavy to pray or discern His voice. God gives solutions even before problems surface, but often, only to those who walk with Him consistently. Walk with God, seek His will over all matters and you won't be stranded. Those who consult God regularly can never be consumed by confusion. #WisdomDose

Maturity index

Kids always want to try or do everything possible, but mature minds know exactly what they want and pursue or do just that. Maturity is not really of age but the mind. It is possible to be an adult and yet behave kiddy.

God's will is what matters

God does not force His will on us; whatever any man does outside of God's perfect will is a waste product which will end up in eternal dump site. As far as God is concerned such works would not stand the test of fire, thus depicts a waste of life and time.

Pride is foolishness

It is only a fool that will lose a precious treasure due to personal negligence or recklessness and yet feel happily unconcerned. This typifies the attitude of a proud man who thinks he/she does not need God. God is indispensable. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Pride is the precursor of foolishness. A foolish man says in heart that there is no God. God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. #WisdomDose

Disobedience is dangerous

Disobedience is an express way (fast lane) out of God's will. Because the Spirit of God does not always strive with man, any unrepentantly disobedient individual stands to be abandoned by God. King Saul went this way and regrettably lost his relevance in the purpose of God. The Spirit of God left him.

Guard your heart

The moment a man is defeated in his heart (mind) he is finished, unless mercy rescues. The heart is the hub of man's life. Guard your heart! Do not allow in it any thing (Flesh and sins) that inhibits the presence of the Spirit of God, else that same thing will inflict pains on both your heart and body. Mind your thoughts, mind your beliefs!

Humility: a key for peak performance

Severally, I have had to ponder; how do you help an individual who needs help but proudly rejects (impliedly or expressly) by attitude the helper(s) God has positioned for them? A. Abandon? B. Pray for? C. Counsel?

The 'Self' virus

A major canker that has reduced the influence of the church in our current world is the problem of "who takes the glory." God or man? The desire for personal public recognition of man has taken the place of absolute commitment to God and faithfulness on His work in the heart of many.

Virtue trademark

Don't be among the class of people who only know virtue by spelling and pronunciation but do not posses it. Virtue is the beauty in an individual's personality. It is an honourable identity. How do you fare? #WisdomDose

Utilize Grace

People who understand the work of Grace do not suffer to do for themselves what only God can do. Grace is divine enablement. The Grace of God brings salvation and enables holiness (Titus 2:11-12). Anyone who thinks victory over sin and righteous living is by efforts is heavy laden and such one needs rest.

Limitation of the wise

Even the wisest man can sometimes be confused and clueless, because man at his best is still man - he is fallible and bound by limitations . Hence, we all need God. God alone is omniscient and perfect. The acknowledgement of, and reverence for God's existence and sovereignty is the beginning of inexhaustible wisdom. #WisdomDose

Like salt and sugar

Salt and sugar are both sweeteners. They have certain similar properties such as colour, texture and solubility, but are clearly different from each other in functions.

Flee! Don't fuel temptation

One of the sure ways to hack temptation is to resist by fleeing every appearances of evil. It is not cowardice to do so, rather a wisdom that preserves the soul. Battle against the flesh is not won by strength but by the Word and Spirit. Scriptural guidance says "flee," and not "fuel". To avoid falling into temptations, flee and resist. Don't give it a soothing thought, knock it out of the heart quickly before it gains root and matures into iniquity. Never assume you can handle it by staying where it is. No, that will fuel it, and dangerous.

A word is enough

One word from God is much more important and powerful than millions of words from men. In that one word is everything - life, light, grace, mercy, joy, wealth, healing, and all that one can think of. God exalts His word more than His name. A word from God is enough to meet your needs. The integrity of His word is indubitable, all you need to do is to trust Him always. #WisdomDose

Wait on God

Those who wait on the Lord will not only have their strength renewed, they will also laugh and rejoice at the end. Waiting on God is not a waste of time, rather an index of faith which is a willful suspension in anticipation of the best. God never fails, He rewards those who wait on Him. #WisdomDose

Mercy factor

Never write off, underrate or maltreat anybody - a slave can become a master; it's only a matter of time and opportunities. God's mercy can turn around anything. #WisdomDose

Spiritual sensitivity

A Christian who is spiritually insensitive is as vulnerable as a finished living thing. Such one will pally voluntarily with his/her enemies unknowingly. Psychological prowess is good, but it can not detect or handle spiritual affairs, and this is why it is important to balance up by being godly spiritual. #WisdomDose

Time factor

Some people miss their blessings at some points because they either delay to do something(s) or hurry to do something(s). For everything under heaven, there is an appropriate time, and that time is God's time. Only those who consistently know God's mind can operate properly at His timing. #WisdomDose

Marriage is not an experiment

Dear single, Marriage is not an experiment (a trial activity), so don't handle it as such lest you become a specimen of brokenness and frustration. Marriage is a serious lifetime course. Take it as what God calls it, not what you know it to be. Follow God's principles and prepare well to make it work and enjoyable. Get your choice right. Your marital settlement will give you either fulfillment or frustration. It is  better to be single than wrongly married. Brokenness pains a lot more than aloneness. Therefore, marriage is an affair that requires looking before leaping. #WisdomDose

Shine! Don't judge

You don't have any business judging or condemning people, only God has the authority. Just live the life of Christ Jesus (full of the virtues of God), qualitative enough to challenge people as a shining example, even as you speak the truth, and that would be sufficient to tell them how to live right. Light does not have to shout to dispel darkness, it only needs to shine. #WisdomDose

Personal branding

Character speaks louder than voice, either good or bad. An individual is not really what he/she says about (him)herself but rather the person on the inside who manifests through a consistent behaviour. Good character is beauty and a virtuous identity. Its beauty is much more than that of looks or physiques. It is not bad to look good, but it's never good to behave bad. Wise men develop character before building castles. Castles built without character will crumble. I have never seen the value of good character depreciate. If it ever does, it must be in the mind of fools. The best way to brand oneself as an indispensable durable asset is to marry skills with good character. That's a top-notch personal branding. #WisdomDose

Oral courtesy

The way an individual speaks suggests if he is wise or otherwise. Oral courtesy is a great value. #WisdomDose

The wise and the great

Wise and great men are never afraid of being envied and hated because they know it's part of the challenges to face for being outstanding. #WisdomDose

Thankfulness

The reason you may have not got some salad or hamburger on your menu as you desire could be because you did not receive the garri God provided with thanksgiving. God tests us with little sometimes to check if He can give us much,  considering our heart of gratitude. Thankfulness is a virtue; it unlocks the warehouse of more, and better quality stuffs. #WisdomDose

Opportunity and timing

OPPORTUNITY AND TIMING  I wonder what the event was like in the days of Noah, when the Lord intended to destroy the earth. Though the bible does not make mention of any conversation that transpired between Noah and other people, but I try to imagine perhaps there were some dramatic scenes on that day.
