Pride is foolishness

It is only a fool that will lose a precious treasure due to personal negligence or recklessness and yet feel happily unconcerned. This typifies the attitude of a proud man who thinks he/she does not need God. God is indispensable.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Pride is the precursor of foolishness. A foolish man says in heart that there is no God.

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
