Be wise

Any attempt a man takes to avoid or move away from God is a display of foolishness. God is life! So where is such one avoiding God going? Definitely towards death. Be wise to follow Jesus Christ because He is God, the Lord. #WisdomDose

The confused believer

The reason many Christians do not approach God to receive direction on decision making is sometimes because they do not want to hear the truth. They know that God's counsel or instructions may often oppose their will or desire which they never want to surrender. Hence, they remain in their web of confusion. #WisdomDose

Transformation

The way to being like Jesus is being with Him. There and then we learn of Him gradually. Regular communion with Jesus is key to lasting transformation. #WisdomDose

Follow the Spirit

Until the Spirit of the Lord explains the word He told you, do not give it your own meaning because you are most likely to misinterpret and get the whole thing wrong at your detriment. #WisdomDose

Obedience: an offering, a proof

Obedience to God is a sacrifice of self will; an offering of self desires. God loves it and rewards it with unthinkable blessings. Obedience is a proof of humility. Are you paying the offering? Are you giving the proof? #WisdomDose

Leadership tip

Wisdom and good character makes leadership (influence) easy and effective. #WisdomDose

Patience is wisdom

Fools make haste to get just anything, but the wise wait duly to get the right and needful things. Patience is wisdom. #WisdomDose

Advice for the slothful

The first active decision the slothful must make to show wisdom is to like work. #WisdomDose

Wisdom cost

Wisdom can not be bought; it is acquired by learning and impartation. The process of becoming wise involves a very costly sacrifice of self discipline, which is certainly unaffordable for the slothful. #WisdomDose

Thanksgiving

Do not only count your blessings, mention them to God in appreciation. That is thanksgiving. #WisdomDose

Brokenness

Brokenness of the spirit is the greatest level of maturity any man can attain, because it allows an uninterruptible operation of the Holy Spirit who enables us to do the will of God the Father. A broken man will always find it a pleasurable sacrifice to yield to God. Only the broken can be moulded by the divine hand and used as a vessel unto honour. #WisdomDose

Take charge

Take charge of situations, do not allow situations to take charge over you. No matter how challenging circumstances may be, you are more advantaged and stronger because God has created in you the power to dominate, that's why you are man. So, take charge! #WisdomDose

God values you

It is possible for men to devalue you for certain reasons, justifiable or not, but know assuredly that God values you irrespective of your fallibilities and men's opinion, because He loves you unconditionally. To experience how much God values you, it is essential that you release your heart to Him and be willing to express His virtues entirely in your life. #WisdomDose

Spiritual matter

When an unspiritual individual wants to carry out a spiritual task at all cost, confusion and struggle is inevitable. #WisdomDose

Productivity rule

A seed is good and valuable, but its value does not fully show until it bears fruits. The best way to multiply your seeds is to plant them. There is always a harvest expected from every seeds planted, and there are portions of seeds to reserve for planting from every harvest. It is wisdom to be able to separate your seeds from feeds. Wise men do not eat their seeds, they plant them in order to produce feeds. #WisdomDose

Peace of mind

One of the ways to have and enjoy peace of mind is to be happy with the blessings and successes of others. Bitterness will never bring forth your own blessings. If you are glad about the wellness of your neighbour, then it will be well with your mind. #WisdomDose

Virtue for value

Virtues generates values. Virtuous people are highly esteemed and valued. Build the former, to acquire the latter. #WisdomDose

Practice greases mastery

Practice never makes perfect, it only makes better. If one were ever perfect at a task, then there would never be any further need to practice. It is, the more we learn and do, the more mastery we attain. #WisdomDose

Idleness exception

Idleness is not good and should not be encouraged. But sometimes, it is better to stay idle for a moment than to get busy with sin. A moment of sin can result in a lifetime depletion and destruction. #WisdomDose

Key and door

Take the wrong key to the right door, you would still be stranded no matter how powerful you are; simply because it requires the right key to open the right door. Approach is an essential key to success. Work at getting it right. #WisdomDose

Love is a decision

Loving does not happen by chance, it is by choice. It is not an accidental occasion, rather, a deliberate action. It takes personal resolve to love genuinely. There are times that loving just feels hard to do, but the resolve in the heart fuels and fans it to flame. It takes deliberateness to have, show, and sustain true love. And this is the underlying strength for loving the unlovable and the undeserving. #WisdomDose

The mystery of death

In the natural and physical scope reality, birth precedes death. But in the spiritual realm of God, death marks the beginning of life. What a mystery! The life of God was given to mankind by the death of His Son - Jesus Christ, and partaking in this baptism of death by dying to Self (the sinful nature) gives birth to a new man full of eternal life. I have died! Have you died? #WisdomDose

Knowing the mind

It is not every 'sorry' that means sorry, and it is not every "thank you" that implies thank you. The ability to discern people's mind beyond their words is good and important; it helps to accept what is genuine and discard deception. #WisdomDose

Don't abuse freedom

We should not misuse our freedom as human beings by engaging in acts of foolishness; because ungodliness is folly. One of such acts is sexual perversion (homosexuality, transgender, sodomy, adultery, fornication, etc). To the doers it is fun on the basis of freedom, but to God it is sin, animalistic and punishable. #WisdomDose

Freedom is not absolute

Life freedom is not absolute, we shall all someday account to God on how we used it. This includes our freedom of choice and lifestyle. WisdomDose

Right offering

God loves melodies a lot, but it is not a melodious voice that touches Him while men praise Him. It is a humble and honest heart that gives God pleasure, and that He will never despise. Melodies may be of many words with a weet mouth but come from an empty impure heart. God examines our hearts to judge our acts. #WisdomDose

Reputation cost

Good reputation is not inherited, it is built. It does not emerge by luck or accident, it requires consistent discipline and integrity to build. #WisdomDose

Your personal property

Your reputation is your personal property. You hold an exclusive patent on it, and as much as this is, you also have a responsibility to protect it from being destroyed. #WisdomDose

You are an inventor

Help your personality with good character to become admirably reputable. Your reputation is your greatest invention, so carve it well, diligently and cautiously because it will outlive you. #WisdomDose

Team work ethic

Don't condemn someone else's good idea if you don't have a better alternative. Be objective at criticizing and place team goals above personal interests. #WisdomDose

In the file of life

If whatever you do with your life does not have a pass mark in God's report file, you would be most unfortunate at judgment. Seek to fulfill God's will, not yours. Follow His ways, and you would not be recorded as a failure in His report file for your life. #WisdomDose

Learn to discern

The basis of confusion for some people is that they want to hear and obey both God and man at the same time. If you can not clearly discern God's voice, any human ideology or manipulations will confuse you. #WisdomDose

Building faith on God's faithfulness

Any time your faith shakes, remember God's faithfulness, and that would be sufficient to revamp your heart to believing. Man's faith may fail, but God's faithfulness stands forever sure and steadfast; and this is enough proof to make man trust in Him absolutely. WisdomDose

I decide, You decide!

Obedience to God is difficult for the the natural man, but made possible by the Spirit. Doing things God's way brings ease for man in all that pertains to life and godliness. Ease, in the sense that diligent efforts yields great results.

Sleep discipline

Sleep was meant for man, but man was not made for sleep. It is a necessity, but timing, priority and balance needs to be applied to enjoy it. Doing the right thing, at the right time and in the right way is a trio quality of insightful fellows. #WisdomDose

Method factor

To get things right, learn the right ways to do things. In a project, the procedure is as important as the end product. Engage the right method(s) to get the right outcome(s). Every course has a suitable approach to it. Hence, if you are expending much resources but not getting desired results, perhaps your method needs to be checked. #WisdomDose

Handling truth

Sentiment is an inhibitor which reduces the strength of truth. Objectivity is an indicator of sincerity; it helps the potency of truth. Truth always have a way of proving itself with respect to time. Hence, communicate objectively, and allow time to factor things out for public convictions. #WisdomDose

Be a genuine helper

Help rendered to another is a seed sown for oneself, and sometimes somehow, it will yield its fruits. If you find helpers scarce around you, it may be either that you are stingy giving help to others or just an inevitable experience of life you will sometime get over. However, whatever a man sows, he reaps. Genuine helpers never lack helps. #WisdomDose

Learn to write

If you want God to regularly speak to you, learn to pay attention and write down; this is one of the ways to prove how serious you are to keep important things - the deep things of God. #WisdomDose

Keep your values

God will not change from being God due to men's unbelief. He will not deplete in righteousness because of men's iniquities. So, as a child of God through Christ Jesus, do not lose your godliness because of pressure, rejection or hatred from men. The Spirit of God in you makes you a treasure of eternal value, but forsaking Him for the sake of pleasing men will merely turn you to a trash. Be bold to keep and promote the qualities of God (virtues) by your lifestyle, without compromise. This, surely, is highly honourable and forever rewarding. #WisdomDose

God does not change

Change affects men and things of nature, not God. Anyone who doubts that or thinks otherwise needs a change in perspective. Jesus is God! And He is the same yesterday, today and forever! No one's unbelief can change that. #WisdomDose

True praise 2

Praising God is an act of wisdom, a display of humility. It is a sure way to access God's presence and draw His attention. God can do anything in the atmosphere of true praise.

True praise 1

Give praise to God as an offering with a genuine heart, not as a gimmick to get miracles. God is worthy to be praised; ultimately for whom He is, and not just because of what He has done. Even if He has done nothing for you, praise Him. That proves how much you love and Believe Him unconditionally. #WisdomDose

Effective Prayer 3

Prayer is not drama, rather a serious communication engagement that God pays attention to. It is occasionally possible to have gesticulation or groaning in the act but these do not necessarily depict seriousness nor determine efficacy. If prayer is not offered the right way, time spent at it would only amount to a waste. There is no point praying if it does not bring results. To have divine results of prayers, we must learn to do it effectively. Take it serious, make it purposeful. Be real at it, not dramatic or comical. #WisdomDose

Effective Prayer 2

Prayer is not an avenue to lecture or preach to God. Oh no! That's far off track. Prayer is not story telling, it is simply pouring one's heart to God in simple, exact and clear terms as much as one can. Anytime you are short of words to express your heart, speak in tongues. That is one of the benefits of being baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps our infirmities. So, for effective praying, engage the Holy Spirit more than you engage your sense. #WisdomDose

Effective prayer 1

For prayer to be effective, it must possess the right necessary elements. First, it must be according to the will of God in the name of Jesus Christ; and His will is inside His written word.

Wait for feedback

The prayer process is not complete until you have heard God speak back to you on the issue you have raised with Him in prayers. So, learn to listen to His voice. It may not always be instant, but He will certainly respond if only you would be sensitive enough to discern His voice. #WisdomDose

God is dependable

You might have been genuinely pursuing a good course and it seems like all efforts are futile. Don't lose hope, just bear in mind that, even if nothing is working out, God is working in progress! As long as you are His child, He has good plans for you.

Use the right approach

Condemning people neither changes nor makes them better, it only turns their heart tough or stubborn. Rather, exemplary life, sound teaching, wise counsel, timely correction in love and prayers makes an effective approach to impact change in others.

Hypocrites' profile

Hypocrites are not hard to know. Likes of such are leaders who want people to change but fail to lead by example; being mere speakers who are rare doers.

Be courageous

When enemies arise and threatens you for doing what is right, do not be afraid, rather ask God for boldness to keep doing right with greater intensity, and eventually you will see your enemies surrender to you.

Truth is indomitable

Do not hate truth or run away from people who will always ring it in your ears. Wise men love truth because it helps them to live right.

Gentleness promotes peace

Peace can never be achieved by violence. Lots of people think 'an eye for an eye' settles matters, but the Spirit teaches "love and gentleness." Whenever anyone take things hot with you, you give it back cold and you will see how peace would easily have its way; first in your heart and then between you two. Violence aggravates tension, but gentleness promotes peace. #WisdomDose

Seek God early

Learn to seek the Lord before problems and confusion arise. If you choose to wait till the time issues come up before you seek Him, you may discover that you are too overwhelmed or heavy to pray or discern His voice. God gives solutions even before problems surface, but often, only to those who walk with Him consistently. Walk with God, seek His will over all matters and you won't be stranded. Those who consult God regularly can never be consumed by confusion. #WisdomDose

Maturity index

Kids always want to try or do everything possible, but mature minds know exactly what they want and pursue or do just that. Maturity is not really of age but the mind. It is possible to be an adult and yet behave kiddy.

God's will is what matters

God does not force His will on us; whatever any man does outside of God's perfect will is a waste product which will end up in eternal dump site. As far as God is concerned such works would not stand the test of fire, thus depicts a waste of life and time.

Pride is foolishness

It is only a fool that will lose a precious treasure due to personal negligence or recklessness and yet feel happily unconcerned. This typifies the attitude of a proud man who thinks he/she does not need God. God is indispensable. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Pride is the precursor of foolishness. A foolish man says in heart that there is no God. God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. #WisdomDose

Disobedience is dangerous

Disobedience is an express way (fast lane) out of God's will. Because the Spirit of God does not always strive with man, any unrepentantly disobedient individual stands to be abandoned by God. King Saul went this way and regrettably lost his relevance in the purpose of God. The Spirit of God left him.

Guard your heart

The moment a man is defeated in his heart (mind) he is finished, unless mercy rescues. The heart is the hub of man's life. Guard your heart! Do not allow in it any thing (Flesh and sins) that inhibits the presence of the Spirit of God, else that same thing will inflict pains on both your heart and body. Mind your thoughts, mind your beliefs!

Humility: a key for peak performance

Severally, I have had to ponder; how do you help an individual who needs help but proudly rejects (impliedly or expressly) by attitude the helper(s) God has positioned for them? A. Abandon? B. Pray for? C. Counsel?

The 'Self' virus

A major canker that has reduced the influence of the church in our current world is the problem of "who takes the glory." God or man? The desire for personal public recognition of man has taken the place of absolute commitment to God and faithfulness on His work in the heart of many.

Virtue trademark

Don't be among the class of people who only know virtue by spelling and pronunciation but do not posses it. Virtue is the beauty in an individual's personality. It is an honourable identity. How do you fare? #WisdomDose

Utilize Grace

People who understand the work of Grace do not suffer to do for themselves what only God can do. Grace is divine enablement. The Grace of God brings salvation and enables holiness (Titus 2:11-12). Anyone who thinks victory over sin and righteous living is by efforts is heavy laden and such one needs rest.

Limitation of the wise

Even the wisest man can sometimes be confused and clueless, because man at his best is still man - he is fallible and bound by limitations . Hence, we all need God. God alone is omniscient and perfect. The acknowledgement of, and reverence for God's existence and sovereignty is the beginning of inexhaustible wisdom. #WisdomDose

Like salt and sugar

Salt and sugar are both sweeteners. They have certain similar properties such as colour, texture and solubility, but are clearly different from each other in functions.

Flee! Don't fuel temptation

One of the sure ways to hack temptation is to resist by fleeing every appearances of evil. It is not cowardice to do so, rather a wisdom that preserves the soul. Battle against the flesh is not won by strength but by the Word and Spirit. Scriptural guidance says "flee," and not "fuel". To avoid falling into temptations, flee and resist. Don't give it a soothing thought, knock it out of the heart quickly before it gains root and matures into iniquity. Never assume you can handle it by staying where it is. No, that will fuel it, and dangerous.

A word is enough

One word from God is much more important and powerful than millions of words from men. In that one word is everything - life, light, grace, mercy, joy, wealth, healing, and all that one can think of. God exalts His word more than His name. A word from God is enough to meet your needs. The integrity of His word is indubitable, all you need to do is to trust Him always. #WisdomDose

Wait on God

Those who wait on the Lord will not only have their strength renewed, they will also laugh and rejoice at the end. Waiting on God is not a waste of time, rather an index of faith which is a willful suspension in anticipation of the best. God never fails, He rewards those who wait on Him. #WisdomDose

Mercy factor

Never write off, underrate or maltreat anybody - a slave can become a master; it's only a matter of time and opportunities. God's mercy can turn around anything. #WisdomDose

Spiritual sensitivity

A Christian who is spiritually insensitive is as vulnerable as a finished living thing. Such one will pally voluntarily with his/her enemies unknowingly. Psychological prowess is good, but it can not detect or handle spiritual affairs, and this is why it is important to balance up by being godly spiritual. #WisdomDose

Time factor

Some people miss their blessings at some points because they either delay to do something(s) or hurry to do something(s). For everything under heaven, there is an appropriate time, and that time is God's time. Only those who consistently know God's mind can operate properly at His timing. #WisdomDose

Marriage is not an experiment

Dear single, Marriage is not an experiment (a trial activity), so don't handle it as such lest you become a specimen of brokenness and frustration. Marriage is a serious lifetime course. Take it as what God calls it, not what you know it to be. Follow God's principles and prepare well to make it work and enjoyable. Get your choice right. Your marital settlement will give you either fulfillment or frustration. It is  better to be single than wrongly married. Brokenness pains a lot more than aloneness. Therefore, marriage is an affair that requires looking before leaping. #WisdomDose

Shine! Don't judge

You don't have any business judging or condemning people, only God has the authority. Just live the life of Christ Jesus (full of the virtues of God), qualitative enough to challenge people as a shining example, even as you speak the truth, and that would be sufficient to tell them how to live right. Light does not have to shout to dispel darkness, it only needs to shine. #WisdomDose

Personal branding

Character speaks louder than voice, either good or bad. An individual is not really what he/she says about (him)herself but rather the person on the inside who manifests through a consistent behaviour. Good character is beauty and a virtuous identity. Its beauty is much more than that of looks or physiques. It is not bad to look good, but it's never good to behave bad. Wise men develop character before building castles. Castles built without character will crumble. I have never seen the value of good character depreciate. If it ever does, it must be in the mind of fools. The best way to brand oneself as an indispensable durable asset is to marry skills with good character. That's a top-notch personal branding. #WisdomDose

Oral courtesy

The way an individual speaks suggests if he is wise or otherwise. Oral courtesy is a great value. #WisdomDose

The wise and the great

Wise and great men are never afraid of being envied and hated because they know it's part of the challenges to face for being outstanding. #WisdomDose

Thankfulness

The reason you may have not got some salad or hamburger on your menu as you desire could be because you did not receive the garri God provided with thanksgiving. God tests us with little sometimes to check if He can give us much,  considering our heart of gratitude. Thankfulness is a virtue; it unlocks the warehouse of more, and better quality stuffs. #WisdomDose

Opportunity and timing

OPPORTUNITY AND TIMING  I wonder what the event was like in the days of Noah, when the Lord intended to destroy the earth. Though the bible does not make mention of any conversation that transpired between Noah and other people, but I try to imagine perhaps there were some dramatic scenes on that day.

Choose the good pain

The pains of regret is much more than that of discipline. Discipline makes one better, but regret makes bitter. One who hates and absconds from discipline has never escaped it, he has only postponed his time of pains with an increased degree of its lashes. Wise men love discipline, and they know that the best time to respond to it is in the days of their youth. #WisdomDose

Don't compromise rightness

If only you won't compromise at all, those who hated and forsook you for choosing to do what is right will some time later return to acknowledge and commend your courage, and even celebrate your results. One of the most painful regrets an individual can suffer is that which emanates from doing what is wrong due to the fear of what people would say.

People pleasing: an undoable task

Don't live to please men, it's unachievable. There is nothing you can do to satisfy anyone who does not love you. To such people, your sincere best efforts and commitments will always be like pieces of trash.

Gossips' malady

Gossips are often insecure and unnecessarily very suspicious, mostly when they see two or more people talking lowly. This may be because they do similar, thus are pricked by conscience. To the impure, nothing is pure. #WisdomDose

Never bother about gossips

To arrest the conscience of people who backbite or gossip you, neither be confrontational nor plot any revenge strategies, rather, be calm and quiet, express lovely virtues and gestures like you never knew about their bad secret acts. Eventually, such people will either shy away from you, or find indirect ways to apologize or seek your favour due to conscience volcano occasioned by a sense of guilt. Never be too bothered about gossips or backbiters, but be sure that you are not one either. #WisdomDose:

Uphold the truth

Never hide the truth, never deny righteousness. You might lose some people in the process but you will have the crown of life in heaven instead, with some stars added. Better to stand with God than the majority of men. Jesus is the truth, Jesus is righteousness! #WisdomDose:

Be wise enough to believe and obey

Faith and obedience go together. It takes faith to obey God completely. Men of faith are great people. One of the most beautiful periods of their lives is when nobody believes in them because they tend to follow God and therefore do illogical things. At some points, only them sees and understands the picture God is showing, thus singularly knows the 'why' for doing 'what.' They may be lonely at periods like this, but it turns out beneficial for them because they can focus on God to build depth and strength.

Just like gold

Some people want to become honourably golden but do not want to be refined and purified. No! It doesn't work like that. Just as gold has to pass through the furnace to become a precious commodity, it

Ignore distractions

Ignore your distractions and you will make an appreciable progress. Focus is required to achieve great things. Distractions are those variables that makes one look sideways and backwards frequently when one ought to face and move forward.

Sin is not a toy

We must be wary of "....will do it just this one time" mindset. The first attempt might be all that the devil needs to hit a finishing stroke. Sin is not a toy! Samson had his hair cut only once (the first and last time ever), and that marked his end, just as Adam ate the fruit only once to a lifetime woe.

Check your attractions

Occasionally, some things that attracts one may actually be to distract and destroy. Such things may not be bad in their selves (as they were), but just that they may not be godly for one in the form(s) they call for attention. It's not all you feel to do or posses that you have to; it may be a bait for destruction. Don't forget, there exists in life, traps in disguise.

Personal integrity

People who often blame others for their mistakes or incompetence lack personal integrity, and thus are unreliable. Addiction to giving excuses is a sign of irresponsibility. It is rare to find people with this act teachable, and this limits them from being the best they can be. Responsible people are not perpetual excuse orators. Integrity involves taking responsibilities for personal inadequacies. This is a resolve! #WisdomDose

Love is considerate

It is not kind, of one to hurt another in an attempt to defend personal interest(s). That's not love, but rather a trait of selfishness. Don't demolish another to construct yourself. Loving a neighbour as oneself makes life beautiful. Love is considerate! #WisdomDose

Courtesy in speaking the truth

It is good to always speak the truth, but it must be delivered politely, else it will lose its power to affect people. Wise men are not rude. Rudeness is not tantamount to courage.  #WisdomDose

A giver

It does not require having much to be a giver, what matters first is 'willingness,' not the 'quantity' one has. No matter how little you possess, there is still a portion you can share with the needy. A "widow's mite" means a lot. Love gives! "Givers never lack." #WisdomDose

Don't try fathom God

An insistent attempt to fathom God is self exposure to contracting an irreparable brain crash tantamount to an incurable lifetime madness. Why? The human mind is just too small to contain God or reason Him out. It is only wise for us to believe God for whom He says He is and adore the glimpse of Himself He chooses to reveal to us in various forms per time. #WisdomDose

Believe in yourself

There is no point in wanting to prove yourself to people or convince them to like you. Just genuinely have a great vision (worth living for), develop quality values and virtues; then stay calm and focused on your pursuit, time will define and publicize your worth as a gem of influence when your vision becomes actualized. Even if/when no one believes in you, believe in yourself. #WisdomDose

Avoid arguments

An argumentative attitude is not a virtue; it neither imparts others nor adds any value to one. Rather, it depletes personal dignity and respect. Instead of arguing issues, simply make your point(s) with honest definiteness and allow the process of time to prove its worthiness.  #WisdomDose

Truth raises enemies

It is good to always speak the truth, but it must be delivered politely, else it will lose its power to affect people. Wise men are not rude. Rudeness is not tantamount to courage. #WisdomDose
If a man's attitude repels people, sweet-talks can not endear them back, it is the attitude that must be checked and corrected (if need be). Bad attitude can repel good people, just as good attitude may put off bad people. Attitude is an imagery of an individual's personality. #WisdomDose
